Job Summary
The Cost Accountant role is designed for entry-level professionals who will primarily focus on supporting the accounting management team by compiling and presenting financial data. This role is essential for ensuring accurate cost analysis and adherence to financial standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial information to accounting management.
- Conduct cost analysis and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS and cost accounting principles is required.
