Counter/Inside Sales Representative

20-22/HR As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the customers by identifying their needs, recommending solutions, processing orders, and ensuring seamless service from order to delivery. This position requires a customer-focused mindset, product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced wholesale environment. You will contribute to our commitment to treating every customer like family while driving sales and maintaining inventory levels. Counter/Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their project requirements.
- Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and identify opportunities to up-sell additional products and supplies.
- Answer telephones and accurately enter sales orders into the system.
- Accept payments and apply them to the appropriate customer accounts.
- Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow up on deliveries to confirm materials arrived on time and all items are accounted for.
- Reorder products as needed to keep store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
- Address and resolve any service concerns that may arise, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Counter/Inside Sales Representative Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in window sales and/or installation is required.
- Familiarity with quoting windows is a plus.
- Experience with reading blueprints and conducting takeoffs is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive attitude and team player mentality.
- Detail-oriented and service-focused approach.
