Job Summary
This role involves assisting walk-in clients, contractors, and plumbers by providing answers to product inquiries, making product recommendations, facilitating order processing and payments, and delivering exceptional customer service. The position also entails supporting the order fulfillment process, ensuring the counter area is safe and organized, and working collaboratively with branch teams to address issues and achieve sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers, contractors, and plumbers with their inquiries about products.
- Recommend plumbing products based on customer needs.
- Process orders and handle payments effectively.
- Provide courteous service to all walk-in clients.
- Support the order fulfillment process diligently.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient counter area.
- Collaborate with branch teams to resolve issues tactfully.
- Work towards meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, particularly in plumbing wholesale, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Solid product knowledge and computer proficiency are required.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
