Creative Project Manager
Remote
$40-45/HR The Creative Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a dynamic and culturally grounded creative team. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end creative workflows—ensuring projects move forward with clarity, alignment, and efficiency. Serving as the central liaison between the Creative department and cross-functional teams, this individual brings together structure and flexibility, balancing urgent timelines with creative excellence. Creative Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day project management for creative deliverables from intake through final routing
  • Scope and prioritize requests in Asana with assigned owners and deadlines
  • Flag blockers or bandwidth issues early and work with leads to resolve them in real time
  • Partner with Creative Managers to ensure smooth execution during high-volume periods
  • Support production coordination and associated design logistics
  • Manage core operational tools, including Asana (project tracking), DAM (asset management), and proofing systems
  • Maintain organized folder structures, naming conventions, and version control
  • Write and update process documentation for project workflows and ownership
  • Monitor deadlines and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and internal process improvements
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Creative team and other departments (e.g., Brand, Digital, Sales, Innovation)
  • Communicate project status, review timelines, and deliverable expectations to stakeholders
  • Support external vendor coordination, including printers, freelancers, and creative partners
  • Help facilitate key meetings such as weekly team check-ins, campaign syncs, and creative reviews
  • Provide administrative support to the Creative Director, including scheduling and team organization
  • Assist with resourcing plans and priority setting across the department
  • Foster a culture of clear communication and proactive feedback
  • Manage invoicing processes for external agencies and freelance contributors

Creative Project Manager Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, traffic coordination, or operations within a creative or marketing team
  • Proficiency in Asana (required), along with experience in proofing platforms and DAM systems
  • Strong understanding of creative workflows with an ability to support without micromanaging
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate between creatives, marketers, strategists, and leadership
  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and adept at juggling multiple projects and timelines
  • Experience with print/photo production timelines, vendor management, or familiarity with design tools
