Job Summary
The Staff Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is a vital member of the surgical team at the Bluefield Surgery Center, tasked with providing safe and effective anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. This full-time position involves collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes in anesthesia practice.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and implement anesthesia plans.
- Evaluate patient health status and medical history prior to procedures.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery for patients.
- Educate patients regarding anesthesia processes and potential risks.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia or equivalent education.
- Active CRNA licensure and certification.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Experience in an operating room or surgical environment is preferred.
