We are seeking a CSP Tech (Sterile Processing Technician 3) for a temporary role in Beachwood, OH, with a duration of 13 weeks.
Job Summary
The position of CSP Tech involves working in sterile processing, where the technician will ensure the proper cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate sterilization equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Ensure all instruments are decontaminated and sterile before use in procedures.
- Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies.
- Follow strict guidelines to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Complete necessary documentation for all processing activities.
Qualifications
- Verification of relevant licenses or certifications is required.
- Completion of the UHS Skills Checklist.
- Proof of an Influenza vaccine.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Completion of 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing.
- Submission of UHS required documents, including a photo badge and background check results.
- Passing UHS Drug Screen and completion of specific training modules.
- Submission of UHS Prior Employment Form is necessary.
