Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans for diagnostic purposes. This role requires the technician to operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct CT imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for imaging examinations, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Document and record patient information accurately for clinical use.
- Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging results and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current registration and certification in CT from a recognized board.
- Proven experience in performing CT imaging procedures.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
