Job Summary
The CT Technologist – Flex is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and assisting in patient care within a diagnostic imaging environment. The role demands a high level of technical skill and patient interaction, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment to facilitate high-quality results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to discuss imaging findings.
- Document patient information and imaging results in compliance with hospital standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and functionality of the imaging area and equipment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current registration with a relevant certifying body, such as ARRT (CT).
- Proven experience in CT imaging preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
