Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. This role is specifically designated for weekend shifts, requiring commitment to delivering exceptional imaging services during these hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately to ensure accurate imaging.
- Maintain equipment functionality and perform routine checks to ensure the safety of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and address any concerns they may have.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on CT.
- State licensure as required for medical imaging specialists.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and anatomy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
- Willingness to work weekend day shifts as assigned.
