Job Summary
The Cybersecurity & IT Operations Analyst is tasked with upholding the organization’s cybersecurity posture while ensuring seamless IT operations. This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and implementing best practices to protect information systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to manage and maintain security tools and applications.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to evaluate system vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures within the organization.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff regarding cybersecurity best practices.
- Assist in the incident response process and coordinate recovery efforts post-incident.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity operations or IT support roles.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
