Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing security initiatives within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring that various cybersecurity projects are executed efficiently, meet relevant deadlines, and align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with established goals.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Monitor project progress and deliver updates to senior management on potential risks and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security protocols throughout project phases.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels among project teams and related departments.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing cybersecurity projects, with a strong understanding of risk management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or others are a plus.
