Job Summary
The Facilities Technician is tasked with the operation, monitoring, and upkeep of essential mechanical systems within a data center, which encompasses HVAC systems, water pumps, and cooling mechanisms. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous functionality of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor critical mechanical systems in the data center.
- Conduct inspections and perform necessary repairs on equipment.
- Support the commissioning of new mechanical systems to maintain high uptime levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical or HVAC roles within an industrial or commercial setting.
- A completed associate’s degree or certification from a trade school in a relevant technical field is mandatory.
