Serve as the onsite technical authority for data center mechanical systems, overseeing safe and reliable operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, procedures, and vendor work. Ensure compliance and continuous improvement while supporting audits, incident investigations, staff training, client relationships, and operational readiness. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or potentially equivalent experience or trade certification, and 7–10 years of relevant mechanical operations, maintenance, or design experience. Candidates should understand critical cooling, water, and fire suppression systems; be familiar with BAS, mechanical codes, ASHRAE standards, and maintenance programs; and have strong procedure-writing, drawing interpretation, and collaboration skills.
