Job Summary
The Data Center Site Manager is responsible for managing both the tactical and strategic operations of co-location facilities, focusing on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair functions within those environments. This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and conducting risk assessments to uphold global standards and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of data center facilities, ensuring effective maintenance and repair systems are in place.
- Engage with stakeholders to align on operational goals and performance metrics.
- Perform comprehensive risk analyses to mitigate potential issues and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Implement strategies aimed at optimizing facility performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a data center setting.
- An associate’s degree or equivalent technical training is essential, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
