Job Summary
The Data Center Technician is tasked with the deployment, management, and upkeep of essential physical data center infrastructure, which encompasses both server and networking components. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and maintaining high standards of data security.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage the physical infrastructure of the data center.
- Perform troubleshooting on complex hardware problems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on servers and networking equipment.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in component-level repair and server hardware troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking protocols and their applications.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and ability to adapt to non-standard working hours, including weekends and holidays.
