Job Summary
The Software Developer is responsible for the creation and upkeep of software applications and intuitive graphical user interfaces designed for the visualization, retrieval, and presentation of intricate experimental data. This role involves working collaboratively with a diverse team to incorporate software elements into broader engineering systems and assist in the commissioning of the Scorpius accelerator.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain software applications and graphical user interfaces.
- Enable visualization and presentation of complex experimental data efficiently.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective integration of software components.
- Support the commissioning processes of the Scorpius accelerator.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q-level security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
