Job Summary
The Manufacturing Shop Manager oversees and manages all manufacturing activities at the Houston BOP facility, ensuring that production, quality, and safety goals are achieved. This position is crucial for guiding production teams, executing strategic initiatives, and maintaining adherence to both industry regulations and corporate policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production teams to achieve operational targets.
- Implement and manage strategic plans for the manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards alongside company policies.
- Coordinate all manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in machine shop operations.
- At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of API standards is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities are necessary for this role.
