Job description
The Debris Operations Manager plays a crucial role in managing field operations related to debris monitoring. This includes guaranteeing the integrity of data collected and organizing contractor schedules. The manager is also tasked with enforcing safety regulations, setting up electronic ticketing systems, and addressing any issues that arise in the field. Applicants should possess previous experience in debris monitoring and supervising field activities, as well as familiarity with FEMA’s Public Assistance program. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, along with the capacity to endure long hours in challenging, disaster-affected settings.
