Job Summary
The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in delivering excellent patient care by supporting dentists during an array of procedures, encompassing restorative, surgical, and preventive activities. This position also involves ensuring cleanliness and sterility in the work environment, overseeing dental instruments, and accurately recording patient data in electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists in various procedures, including restorative, surgical, and preventive tasks.
- Maintain a sterile environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage and ensure the proper functioning of dental equipment.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Completion of board-approved courses in Radiation Safety, California Dental Practice Act, and Infection Control.
