Job description
**Job Title: Design Criteria Engineer**
The Design Criteria Engineer is responsible for establishing and upholding the foundational engineering principles, design parameters, and safety standards for systems, structures, and components within the facility. This position requires the ability to interpret regulatory mandates and safety requirements into precise, justifiable engineering guidelines while collaborating with diverse technical teams to guarantee the safety of the facility. Ideal candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or Nuclear engineering and demonstrate a solid grasp of engineering principles and the design of safety-critical facilities. Additionally, experience with Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA), relevant regulatory standards (such as ASCE, ACI, and ASME), and assessments of natural hazard risks is strongly encouraged.
