The Design Engineer is responsible for spearheading the tire development strategy, overseeing the entire process from the initial concept and tread design to the commercialization phase. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to create high-performance tires while also managing testing protocols and manufacturing requirements. Applicants need to possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in product development. Expertise in 3D CAD software and a solid grasp of tire mechanics and rubber materials is essential.
