Job Summary
The Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development and refinement of products, contributing expertise in design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. This individual is responsible for driving innovative solutions and ensuring that designs meet performance and sustainability criteria.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop new product designs and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of design processes and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
