Job description
**Job Title: Design Manager**
The Design Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the implementation of design aspects for transit projects. This role involves collaborating with consultant teams and engineering experts to ensure successful delivery. Key duties include managing contract activities, addressing technical issues related to design submissions, and maintaining adherence to agency guidelines and safety regulations.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture and a minimum of five years of experience in civil/structural engineering design and construction. Additionally, a Professional Civil Engineer or Architect license from the State of Washington is mandatory, along with at least three years of experience in leadership and project management.
