Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for implementing and managing software development processes and approaches in an efficient manner. This position is located in Austin, Texas, and predominantly requires onsite attendance. The role emphasizes utilizing modern tools and practices to facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) within the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize software development and deployment processes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for various projects.
- Oversee version control and ensure code quality using modern SCM systems.
- Collaborate with software development teams to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related science or engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience of 6+ years with modern and distributed source code management (SCM) systems, particularly with Git.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages.
