Job Summary
The Dietary Clerk at Hampden Rehab plays a crucial role in supporting the nutritional needs of patients by assisting in food service operations. This position is available on an as-needed basis during the day shift, ensuring flexibility to meet the demands of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and service of meals for patients and staff.
- Ensure that dietary menus are followed according to specific patient needs.
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies for the dietary department.
- Record and track food consumption and preferences of patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and serving areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety regulations.
