Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources leads both strategic and operational facets of HR initiatives, including areas such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. This position serves as a key advisor to senior management and plays a vital role in ensuring adherence to regulations while promoting a supportive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR programs and policies.
- Advise senior leadership on HR-related matters and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements in HR practices.
- Foster and maintain a positive employee culture within the organization.
- Manage recruitment efforts to attract and retain talent.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Address employee relations issues and promote a harmonious work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Minimum of five years of management experience in HR.
- Certification such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is mandatory.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
