Job Summary
This role involves leading a team of over 20 engineers while overseeing the complete delivery process of the Unified Ingress platform. The responsibilities encompass the platform’s architecture, engineering benchmarks, readiness for production, and user adoption. You will also coordinate the interdependencies among various teams, including infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, and identity, ensuring a smooth transition during business-line migrations and the decommissioning of legacy systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in the development and delivery of the Unified Ingress platform.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and engineering best practices.
- Manage cross-team dependencies in infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity.
- Oversee business-line migrations and prepare rollback strategies.
- Facilitate the decommissioning of legacy systems to ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years of industry experience is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in leading engineering teams with proven ability to manage teams of 15 or more across multiple workstreams.
- Technical proficiency in ingress and gateway systems as well as identity and authentication protocols.
- Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps methodologies, alongside programming skills in Go.
- Background in architecture reviews and understanding of cross-functional infrastructure and security needs.
