The Donor Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating donor registration, conducting medical interviews, and executing whole blood phlebotomies, all while delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves overseeing donor recovery, addressing any adverse reactions, and ensuring the quality control of medical equipment and supplies. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred certifications including Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, or CNA. The job demands proficiency in performing venipunctures, the ability to lift weights up to 30 pounds, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and professional communication.
