Externs will collaborate with supervising veterinarians to enhance their skills in practice management, focusing on areas such as client interaction, conducting physical examinations, and developing treatment plans. Additionally, they will participate in surgical procedures, laboratory duties, and the comprehensive medical care of patients. This externship opportunity is available to veterinary students at any academic level. Candidates should be ready to participate in externship blocks during their clinical year or partake in informal learning opportunities at a Western Veterinary Partners facility.
