The Lead Teacher will dedicate most of their time to the classroom, where they will craft and execute lessons that are suitable for developmental stages while fostering a safe and supportive environment. This position also encompasses administrative responsibilities including overseeing staff, managing records, and ensuring adherence to state regulations. Candidates should hold a minimum of an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or a comparable field, or possess a CDA/OCFS-recognized credential, supplemented by 1-2 years of teaching and leadership experience. Furthermore, applicants must be physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and must have medical clearance to operate in a childcare context.
