Job description
The Veterinary Assistant will assist veterinarians and technicians by helping with animal handling, restraint, and various outpatient procedures. Additionally, they will be tasked with ensuring that exam rooms and treatment areas are clean and ready for use at all times. Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience as a clinical veterinary assistant. Essential skills include the ability to take medical notes, manage patient restraint, communicate effectively with clients, and perform subcutaneous injections.
