Job Summary
The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for creating advanced electrical system designs, conducting power system analyses, and inspecting sites for significant infrastructure ventures. This role includes offering technical mentorship to less experienced personnel, working alongside diverse teams, and aiding in business growth through the preparation of proposals.
Responsibilities
- Design complex electrical systems for critical infrastructure projects.
- Carry out power system studies to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Conduct site investigations to gather relevant information for projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Assist in business development activities by preparing and presenting proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Currently possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- At least 7 years of direct experience in electrical engineering design.
- Proficient in utilizing industry-standard software for electrical analysis.
