Job Summary
The Engineer will be responsible for assessing product designs and formulating manufacturing processes, tools, and procedures tailored for Google’s technical infrastructure. This role entails working closely with interdisciplinary teams to spearhead the advancement and scaling of innovative PCBA manufacturing technologies specifically for data center products.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve product designs relating to manufacturing processes.
- Devise and optimize tools and procedures for manufacturing within Google’s technical framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of new PCBA technologies.
- Manage the scaling process for these technologies specifically tailored for data center applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the development of manufacturing processes, focusing on semiconductor packaging or SMT.
- Expertise in PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Experience with initiating new sites or bringing up new equipment.
