**Job Title: Eligibility Specialist**
The Eligibility Specialist is responsible for evaluating disaster relief applications to assess eligibility and handling appeals for cases that have been previously rejected. This role involves acting as the main contact for survivors, offering support and facilitating access to recovery resources. Ideal candidates should possess a background in case management, loan processing, or social services, with a particular emphasis on those who are knowledgeable about FEMA’s Individual Assistance programs. A degree, either at the associate or bachelor’s level, is preferable, alongside excellent organizational and communication abilities.
