**Job Title: Funeral Director**
The Funeral Director plays a crucial role in the care and management of deceased individuals, encompassing their reception, preparation, and embalming, while ensuring meticulous documentation and adherence to chain-of-custody protocols. This individual is also responsible for guiding apprentices and working collaboratively with other funeral directors and the operational team to uphold exceptional service and presentation standards. Applicants must hold a valid Funeral Service License or Funeral Director license in Virginia and demonstrate strong proficiency in embalming and restoration techniques. The position requires resilience in a physically challenging environment, the ability to approach sensitive matters with empathy, and strict adherence to legal and OSHA regulations.
