Job Summary
The Emergency Tech plays a crucial role in delivering patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, while strictly following hospital guidelines and protocols. This position is essential in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their treatment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in alignment with hospital standards and policies.
- Assist RNs and physicians in various clinical tasks.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertions, blood collection, and ECG placements across multiple facilities.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
- Current EMT-Basic or EMT-Intermediate certification.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in emergency medical environments is preferred.
