Job Summary
The Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of emergency vehicle equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems and specialized equipment associated with emergency vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair emergency equipment such as lighting, sirens, and communication devices in vehicles.
- Conduct reliable inspections to ensure all installed components function correctly and meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency service agencies to customize vehicle systems to their needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive installation or a related field.
- Familiarity with emergency vehicle systems and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
