Job Summary
The engineer will be responsible for enhancing the functionality, upkeep, and advancement of flood protection and water management systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of infrastructure designed to safeguard against flooding and manage water resources.
Responsibilities
- Analyze hydrological data to inform decision-making and project development.
- Conduct field inspections to assess the condition and performance of infrastructure.
- Coordinate emergency response initiatives related to water control and flood defense.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- At least four to six years of relevant professional experience.
- A State of Florida Professional Engineer license is mandatory for the Professional Engineer designation.
