Job Summary
The Engineer-In-Charge is responsible for directing the design processes for capital roadway, sewer, and water main initiatives. This role will also involve managing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that all project developments align with interagency and utility partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the design of capital roadway, sewer, and water main projects.
- Supervise a team composed of engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate the development of projects with various interagency and utility stakeholders.
- Review contract documents to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Manage contracts related to consultant design services.
Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of hands-on civil engineering experience.
- A valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship for visas is not available.
