Job Overview:
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading process enhancement initiatives, quality management systems, and technical optimization within a manufacturing context. This leadership position entails managing a team of engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration across various departments to boost operational efficiency, uphold product quality standards, and promote a culture centered on safety and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager:

• Guide and develop a team of process and quality engineers.
• Champion quality improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing defects, waste, and downtime.
• Establish and maintain continuous improvement practices (e.g., TPM, Six Sigma).
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Examine production metrics to enhance system efficiency and product quality.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams on new product testing and process improvements.
• Address and resolve customer feedback; spearhead root cause identification and corrective action plans.
• Participate in capital project planning, technology upgrades, and strategic engineering initiatives.

Qualifications for the Engineering Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering or quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams or managing technical projects.
• In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles, quality analysis tools, and data evaluation.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with customer-oriented quality management systems is preferable.
