Job Summary
The Environmental Coordinator for Air Quality plays a crucial role in overseeing air quality compliance and management within the organization, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards. This position is focused on promoting sustainability practices and improving air quality to support a healthier environment for the community and the organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor air quality data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement air quality management programs and strategies.
- Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify air quality issues.
- Collaborate with governmental agencies and stakeholders on air quality initiatives.
- Prepare reports and documentation on air quality performance and compliance status.
- Educate employees and stakeholders on air quality best practices and policies.
- Assist in the development of sustainability goals related to air quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in environmental compliance and air quality management.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
