Job Summary
The Environmental Services Manager plays a crucial role in supervising the operational functions of the hospital’s department, focusing on housekeeping, laundry services, and patient transport. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operational requirements of housekeeping, laundry, and patient transportation services.
- Coordinate activities among staff members to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Manage departmental budgets while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure that all operations comply with applicable regulatory standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year in a supervisory role is essential.
- Ability to physically navigate the facility, including walking over five miles each day.
- An associate’s degree is preferred for candidates.
- Certification in sterile processing is favored but not mandatory.
