Job Summary for Epic Ambulatory Analyst:
The Epic Ambulatory Analyst plays a critical role in the design, implementation, and enhancement of Epic Ambulatory solutions tailored for outpatient processes. This position oversees project responsibilities, ensures documentation and timelines are maintained, collaborates on system improvements, and aids in creating technological solutions that meet both operational and business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess Epic Ambulatory certification, have excellent analytical and communication abilities, experience with outpatient orders, questionnaires, and preference lists, along with a minimum of five years of pertinent experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Epic Ambulatory Analyst:
- Assist in the design and execution of departmental project initiatives and smaller system deployments.
- Contribute to efforts aimed at developing solutions.
- Execute tasks as assigned.
- Oversee project schedules.
- Monitor information system resources for projects assigned.
- Communicate project timelines and document performance metrics.
- Create work products and document operational goals, best technology capabilities, and resource requirements at the task level.
- Maintain project task plans, documentation, and ongoing communications.
- Exhibit strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Qualifications for the Epic Ambulatory Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Epic Ambulatory.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with outpatient orders, questionnaires, and preference lists.
