Job description
Job Summary
The Epic Interface Engine Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare information systems by managing the integration and optimization of Epic systems. This position focuses on ensuring the seamless exchange of data between various applications, thereby improving patient care and operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of Epic interfaces.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve interface issues.
- Document interface specifications and maintain accurate records of interface performance.
- Provide support in projects involving interface development and system upgrades.
- Engage in testing activities to ensure successful interface configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Epic systems and interface engines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows and data management principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
