Job Summary
The Equipment Rental Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire scope of equipment rental operations, encompassing the execution of transactions, drafting quotes, handling contracts, arranging transportation, and overseeing equipment transfers. This role ensures the precision of rental records and inventory reconciliation while providing exceptional support to customers throughout their rental journey.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate equipment rental transactions and contracts.
- Prepare and provide quotes to customers.
- Organize transportation logistics for equipment delivery and return.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of rental records and inventory matching.
- Offer guidance to customers regarding safe equipment usage.
- Collect applicable rental fees and charges from customers.
- Work collaboratively with sales, credit, transportation, yard, and service teams to optimize rental operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, with one to three years of relevant experience in the transportation sector or a comparable educational background.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
- Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative work approach.
- Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and computer usage.
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
