The Environmental Services Technician Educator acts as a subject matter expert in healthcare cleaning techniques, tools, and processes. They are responsible for training staff on hospital department-specific cleaning standards in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Candidates must have at least one year of previous healthcare EVS experience and the ability to read, write, and speak English. A Department of Transportation (DOT) certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
