Job Summary
The MS/TELE RN position requires a professional nurse with expertise in medical-surgical and telemetry patient care. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing services to patients who may be experiencing complex medical conditions requiring continual observation and management of vital signs.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document patient needs while implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological status, reacting promptly to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing is preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
