Job Summary
The Executive Underwriter plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of the management liability segment within a designated region. This position involves taking charge of a personal portfolio, crafting agency strategies, and evaluating risks in alignment with company protocols.
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal book of business to ensure ongoing growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance agency performance.
- Solicit and assess risks following company guidelines for sound underwriting practices.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with producers and customers through effective sales and negotiation techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in underwriting financial lines.
- Demonstrated strong skills in sales, marketing, and negotiation.
