Job Summary
The Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine is a per diem position based in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, the individual is tasked with delivering comprehensive medical evaluations and educating healthcare staff about emergency care practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations of patients presenting in emergency situations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures.
- Provide education and training for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel on emergency care protocols.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with established medical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Experience in emergency medicine is highly preferred.
