Location: Oakwood Village, OH
Salary: $16-18/HR (depending on experience)
Night Shift: Two Options Available
Signing Bonus: $1000

The Extrusion Grinder will handle the sorting and processing of materials by utilizing grinding equipment to create pelletized substances for re-extrusion purposes. Responsibilities include conducting equipment cleanouts, staging materials, adhering to production timelines, and providing support for various tasks on the production floor while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Extrusion Grinder:

• Sort and separate production sheets effectively.
• Package, label, and weigh inventory items.
• Load materials into the grinder following the established grinding schedule.
• Operate grinding machinery to transform materials into pellet form.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble grinding equipment as necessary.
• Prepare materials for upcoming production tasks.
• Engage in cross-training across various positions on the production floor.
• Follow all safety protocols and company regulations.
• Complete other tasks as directed by management.

Extrusion Grinder Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is necessary.
• Experience in operating production machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with operating a tow motor; forklift certification is advantageous.
• Competency in reading and writing skills.
• Able to read a tape measure and carry out basic mathematical calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to utilize hand tools (e.g., hammer, saws, nail gun).
• Must be capable of lifting weights between 50 to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration skills.
• Capable of multitasking and managing personal organization.
• Attendance should be regular and timely.
• Prior experience in extrusion or plastic sheet processing is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent activities such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Able to lift or move items weighing between 50 to 100 lbs.
• Strong visual acuity is required, including depth perception and color recognition.
• Ability to ascend stairs and utilize catwalks multiple times each day.
